A história do museu se remonta ao ano 1716 quando Pedro I criou o museu Kuntskámera para onde traziam os ossos e os dentes dos mamíferos do período glaciar que lhe interessavam muito a Pedro I e outras curiosidades. Agora o museu se concidera como um dos maiores museus do mundo das ciencias naturais e da história. Quase na entrada se encontra o esqueleto enteiro do mamute, o segundo na Terra ( o primeiro se encontra no museu Zoológico). É muito popular a sala número cinco com os dinossauros da era mesozóica.
3. O museu da história do hospital de psiquiatria de Alekseev de Moscou (Káschenko).
É o museu não so do doctor famoso Káschenko mais de toda a psiquiatria do país. Você pode estudar a história das doenças antigas, ver as fotos das pessoas doentes, conhecer a história da psiquiatria, como se transformavam os métodos do tratamento médico e o trato aos doentes, da psiquiatria penal do tempo soviético. Uma parte da exposição está dedicada à vida do fundador do hospital, Nikolay Alekseev. Gracias a esta pessoa em Moscou apareceu não so o hospital de psiquiatria mais tambêm a canalização e as calçadas asfaltadas. Pela ironia da sorte no ano de 1893 Alekseev foi mortalmente ferido por um dos doentes.
4. O museu da flota submarina da Russia.
A submarina B-396 «O Komsomólets de Novosibirsk», onde se localiza o museu foi quitada do uso no ano de 1998 e trazida a Moscou no outono do 2003 para o lago Jímkinskoye. Aquele mesmo inverno passou uma catástrofe, o nível do agua baixou muito e o barco entrou num encalhado e se cobriu pelo gelo. Agora todas as desgraças quedam no passado e a submarina no parque “Sévernoye Túshino” se converteu num dos museus técnico mais populares da capital.
5. O museu da arte e costumes em GULAG.
Um dos museus mais aterrorizantes de Moscou se localiza no predio da sociedade russa “Memorial”. A atmosfera fria dos campos de concentração emana de cada peça. O museu tem exemplos da escultura, pintura e gráfica. Entre os pintores cabe mencionar a um apresentante da corrente vanguardista, cenógrafo Shuhaev, que também em Kolimá (parte noreste da Russia) fazia decoração dos espetáculos, aluno de Daineka, Lev Kropovitskiy, escultor Karpenko que fez a estátua de Lenin em pedra no campo de concentração e aluno de Mújina Grigoriev. O pessoal do museu valora muito os bordados dos presos que tambêm se encontram na coleção.
